Club Etiquette

Welcome! We invite our members and guests to practice nudism and naturism in a safe and comfortable environment at our meetings, events, and outings (as appropriate). A room or place is designated where to leave your clothing and belongings. Guests willing to disrobe are welcome and may wear a towel or sarong until they are comfortable. Pools and hot tubs are clothes free.

Mohave SUN Club follows the principles of the American Association of Nude Recreation (AANR) which can be reviewed on aanr.com, our club application form, and general information sheet. Thank you for being considerate and respectful to other members of the Mohave SUN family.

Since Mohave SUN Club is a family nudist club, children of any age must be accompanied by a parent. There is an AANR form for grandparents or others to bring children but form must be notarized with the parent/legal guardian’s signature if the parent is not present. Be certain that your children and any guests you bring understand the nudist etiquette and are willing to abide by it. It is your responsibility to watch your children or specifically designate a surrogate parent. Children are expected to behave in a reasonable manner and follow rules for their own safety.

Bring a towel or two (a dry towel for sitting on and a separate swimming towel is ideal) so that you have a dry one to sit on at all times. Thank you for showering before arriving. Please use water based sun lotion (not oil) when using the pool or hot tub. Do not enter the hot tub or pool if you have any visible skin condition or any open wounds. Please do not attend a function if you are sick or have any symptoms such as fever, cold or cough, or anything potentially contagious.  Thanks.

We are all guests in our host(s) home and are respectful of their homes and furnishings, including drying our feet when coming inside and using a dry towel to sit on. Please respect our host(s) privacy and closed doors. If an item is broken, please offer reimbursement. Thank you for doing your part in preparing food and/or cleaning up, especially cleaning anything borrowed or used, and assisting the host(s) in anyway you can. Feel free to help wash and dry dishes. Be sure to take all belongings, towels, and dishes home. It helps to put your name on dishes and towels. Please offer to contribute to the cost of anything provided by another member, including gasoline for driving or boating, parking, etc.

Meals are potluck with the host(s) providing the main dish and others bringing a dish big enough to share with the group, as well as a snack for longer events. Drinks are BYOB although member(s) may choose to bring one to share.

Remember the basics: Mohave SUN Club provides a place for all members and guests to feel safe and comfortable. Please use alcohol in moderation, don’t use or bring illegal substances or weapons, or display any overt sexual behavior including suggestive comments or propositions. Visit, be friendly, but if an answer to a personal question is refused, accept it gracefully. Please do not smoke inside and ask if there’s a designated smoking area outside.

Please do not reveal another member’s affiliation with the club to anyone outside the group. Acknowledging nudism is a personal choice and one that must be made ONLY by the person. Revealing another member’s personal information, including address and phone number, requires that person’s express permission to do so.

Taking photographs: Guests are not allowed to take any photos and phones are left with their belongings. Still or video pictures require the express written permission of the persons to be photographed, including guests. Mohave SUN Club will not make any club photos public without written permission from individual on the AANR form. Children MUST have parent permission to be photographed. If you have not signed permission or do not wish to be photographed at club events/meeting, please tell the photographer and move out of the picture area. Spike, Sandra and Billy are the appointed photographer(s) for the club and others only as designated by Spike or Sharron.

Mohave SUN Club encourages members to suggest activities and host one or more events during the year. We enjoy the freedom, socializing, relaxation, and good health that naturism and nudism bring into our lives. Thank you for observing the above etiquette that helps us all have a fun, safe, and great naturist experience.

Naturally,

Mohave Sun Club
